I hold a Masters degree in ecology and have been a wildlife biologist for about 5 years. I decided to give up on an active life of field research for marital bliss and that is when I gave into an itch I had to start writing.
I write about my explorations of my new home country, Australia, and anything else that catches my fancy on my website The Wide World.
My experience with professional writing has been limited. I have written a few ecological reports during my time as an ecologist. I have also worked as a business development manager for a travel portal in India and undertook the task of content writer for the website as well. I currently work for a small company in Sydney that has me creating content for various websites and WAP portals.
My interests are varied. Travel, bird-watching, books, the movies, music, and swimming are amongst my favorite things to do. I have a keen interest in history, mythology and in wines as well. Experiments in the kitchen have recently been added to my repertoire.
